how to stretch header section to make it 100% in width ?

I want to stretch header section and make it 100% but at the same time logo and wrapper links should remain at the same place.

rest menu and other things should remain at the same place, i want to stretch only header section

you need to chance the css ...
view the soource code in the ie and see which particular css class it's using...
I forgot the name. I stretched it little bit for my site...not to full page...but uou can do it.

plz locate me where to make changes and what needs to be changed. I have already tried many things in css but nothing works.
