URGENT : how to create link www.mywebsite.com/request ?

on my website i want to create a page on this location www.mywebsite/request

i don't want .aspx in the end,


i have already tried creating a folder named as "request" on my root directory, and adding a page default.aspx but when i re-built my project i get an error saying "The namespace "NopSolutions.NopCommerce.Web" already contains a definetion for "Default"

i think it is coinciding with the default.aspx homepage of the website, is this the problem ?

is there any other way to solve this problem ? if i add webconfig in the folder and if somebody visit www/mywebsite/request the user gets into the page exists in the folder ? how to do that ?

You will have to configure a url-rewrite to achieve this.  This is not for the feint of heart.  If you don't have any experience with regex I would suggest hiring someone to do this for you or just accept the .aspx extension and move on.
