Can't log out using IE and v1.8

I have a site set with redirects to force www into the URL.

In IE if I log out it shows me as still logged in. If I take the redirects of and browse to the URL without www in the domain then it shows me as logged out but as soon as I add www back into the domain it shows me as logged on again.
