back link how-to

hi all

after installation of nopcommerce and linking it to a site, it has become apparent there is no configuration to set the return/back link to calling site.

any help is much appreciated.

i guess one solution is to add a new link to the menu to return back to calling page.

is this what u guys have done?

i dont understand what you are tyring to do. Please can you explain. Are you referring to linking back to the installation wizard?

i will attempt to make the problem clear.

the main website has a link to a shop (nopcommerce store).

so need a way to go from store back to main website.

is this not how most sites use nopcommerce?

Yes you can just add a new hyperlink to your main website. You can add this to /modules/HeaderMenu.ascx so that it appears at the top of the store. Or just change the "home" link to point to your main website address
