Order Qty not being reverted once order is cancelled

Hi,
we are using nopcommerce 4.2 and recently we got an order which we initiated shipment for it but afterwards we the order was cancelled.

once we cancelled the order manually the qty were not added back to stock.

we are using Cash on Delivery payment option and for shipment we handle it manually.

any suggestions?

This is not a bug this is how it works.
There maybe many reasons why and order is cancelled and not all mean that the stock was returned.
Manually adjust stock after cancelled orders.

Well it seems if we cancelled it the Qty will go back as it was before the order and the issue was related to purchase which we created a shipment record for, so we had to modify the Quantities manually.
