Shopping by Size

Hi there,

Currently the shop allows you to shop by Category and Manfacturer.

I would also like to allow people to shop by Size ie small, medium, large etc.... does anyone know how to implement like this?

Easiest solution would be to use Tags, and eliminate all Tags except your sizes, and change the wording "Tag" to "Size" and possibly make it less "cloudy" and make them all the same size. Could you live with that?

Other than that one would have to copy the functionality of "Category" and "Manufacturer" and that appears to be *work*, including changes in the Database.

Wouldn't it be easier to take advantage of the filters functionality. All you need to do is define product specifications. Then while editing the product go to the specification tab and all the specs that correspond to that product and check the box that says "allow filtering"

That would be the easiest and cleanest way to do it.
