Zip corrupting on download

I have some large (25mb) zip files containing a single PDF (approx 45mb). They upload fine, and open when downloaded using WinRAR or 7-zip, but Windows Explorer says the zip is corrupt when trying to open with that.

This is for download products.

actually, it's not just zips. All large (30 meg + files are being corrupted)
