confirmation email being sent BEFORE paypal confirmation

Im new to nopcommerce. I didnt set this nopcommerce site up. someone else did a while ago and ive now come in. its been pointed out to me that confirmation emails are being sent before you confirm your paypal details on the pay pal site. so when the user is on the checkoutconfirm.aspx page they click 'confirm' and they go to the paypal site login screen but the order confirm email goes to their inbox before they even log into paypal. i need to change this so when the user returns to the site and paypal has confirmed the order they receive the email. where can i do this?

any help will be appreciated

I've got the same problem (ver 1.90). Is there a way to have that first email delayed until the payment transaction is confirmed or rejected?
