Import Products Tree Level Information

Greetings;

I would truely appreciate any assistance.

I am tasked with creating a new website for an electronics distributor. The first goal is to list products by manufacturer.

There are several thousand products.

I have all the "Tree Level" information managed in a database.

I would like to import the "Tree" information. As well, I would like to import image information.

Trying to do this manually from the Dashboard would require more lifetimes than I have.

I am database savay and can message the data for nopCommerce if necessary.

I have figured out how to do a basic import of products.

The tree would look like:

Home Products:
     Manufacturer 1
          Product Type 1
          Product Type 2
          Product Type 3
                         Product Type 3 Sub Product 1
                         Product Type 3 Sub Product 2
     Manufacturer 2
          Product Type 1
          Product Type 2
          Product Type 3
                         Product Type 3 Sub Product 1
                         Product Type 3 Sub Product 2


Car Products:
     Manufacturer 1
          Product Type 1
          Product Type 2
          Product Type 3
                         Product Type 3 Sub Product 1
                         Product Type 3 Sub Product 2
     Manufacturer 2
          Product Type 1
          Product Type 2
          Product Type 3

I would have a look at NopAdmin, you can create the categories there...

I use a 3 tier myself.... you might also want to expend the Javascript (design) to show the lower levels... The NopAdmin (does have a free version for you to try out - think it is 50 products per excel spreed sheet, but is good tool for when you have thousands of products - you can also search this forum and is a couple of upload tools for you to use. Myself is NopAdmin, as it also is good for dialing into the SQL and you can (multi) drag and drop products into categories.....
