Should I upgrade 4.3 to 4.4 or soon 4.5 ?

I have 2 storefronts built with 4.3, and they are about to go live. They also have a couple paid plugins and a little bit of custom code.

Should I leave 4.3 and launch my sites as they are? Or is it worth it to upgrade these to 4.4 first?  I guess there are some large benefits with performance with 4.4.
How much time should I allocate to the upgrade process?

When is 4.5 coming out ? Is it better to wait for that?

I'm looking for opinions based on your experience so far.

if there is not more customization  and plugin which is paid, so that is available in the market so you can easily upgrade
or if you can wait around 2 months they are planning to release as you can see using this link
