Hi;

After looking into MVC 3 and the number third party controls available for it, I've decided to stay with ASP.Net Ajax. I use Telerik controls and they have mature controls for ASP.Net.

Now, since 2.0 is going towards MVC direction, what is it going to happen to those who are staying with ASP.Net?

Thanks!

Hi Ben,

We don't plan to release new nopCommerce versions for "classic" ASP.NET version. Below are several topics about nopCommerce and MVC (perhaps, they can be useful):

I understand that, but my question was, what are plans for those who are not switching to MVC? Is there a way that your new MVC can work with ASP.Net 4?

I our app, we will be building many business webforms and at this point point ASP.Net is more suited. But does it mean we will loose your product?

Perhaps, I follow with the second question.
Will 1.9 continue with development for ASP.net?

You can integrate existing "classic" ASP.NET appplication (WebForms) with MVC application. N2CMS did it. And there're a lot of articles about it over Internet. Here is one of them - http://www.devproconnections.com/article/aspnet2/MVC-and-Web-Forms-Two-Great-Tastes-Together-.aspx
