Hi,
I successfully uploaded nopCommerce to the host, created the SQL database & then ran the nopCommerce Installation. Everything went fine till step 3 when the "ConnectionString.config" file couldn't be updated because of file permissions.
I have sent 2 emails to my host's help desk (Crazy Domains in Australia) who have told me that the httpdocs file "is an important file and permissions cannot be changed"
I then pasted the suggested nopCommerce ConnectionString code from Step 3, into the config file manually, but how do I complete the installation without starting all over again & encountering the same problem ?
I only have a layman's understanding of web installation, and can't see a way around this. I hope someone out there can maybe give me some suggestions.
