Setup failed: The ConnectionString property has not been initialized.

I'm trying to setup a new database (SQL Server) for version 4.5.3 and now I keep getting the error when trying to connect to a new database server.  4 hours ago I was able to do this successfully with a local database server.  But now I get the same error when trying to connect to the database I created 4 hours ago.

Any clue about what is going on?

I trashed the code I was compiling from the base code zip file and got the error to go away.  I must have inadvertently made a small change that broke the code.
