Migrating plugins from NopCommerce 3.40 to NopCommerce 4.60

Hello NopCommerce Community,
My team is currently working on NopCommerce 3.40 as a part of a project. We are looking forward to migrating plugins from NopCommerce 3.40 to NopCommerce 4.6 which is latest version as of now.  As we observed, there are so many changes between plugin structures between both the versions. We are trying to find out the suitable and proper path to do this in more convenient way. Please guide us in this regard.

A couple of things regards upgrading:

Moving plugins from those old versions to new will require many changes. The best way to make a plugin is to take an existing current version plugin i.e. Payment, Shipping, Misc which is somwhat similar to that required and use it as a base to copy then add or modify the existing functionality. So in this way understand what the old plugin did and add the old functionality to an existing plugin to make a new plugin.

There are many new functions and ways which are now in the current version which used to require plugins to add the functionality so these plugins will no longer be required.

There are many plugins in the marketplace for the current version so use these plugins rather than upgrade the old plugins
