Relative URLs not nn Topic page

I am working on configuring a new theme for one of our stores on a development site. We're running Nop 4.50.3

everything was going well, until someone previewing the site said that she was getting "page not found" from a specific page (a topic page).

it works fine for me on my laptop (using chrome) but not on my iphone.

she uses a MAC, so I suspect it's a safari issue.

category pages with relative links work just fine.

any ideas???

What do you mean by relative links?
I usually enter the full url including domain for each link and image

I mean using /pagename rather than https://mydevsite/pagename

I tend to use relative links so I can copy/paste move topic and categories words and any special html  from the dev site to the production site.
