Arvixe and Private Server combo set up help

I am new to nopCommerce, and web developement in general, so I had a few questions.

We created an account with Arvixe and will load nopCommerce into a folder in our wwwroot named nopstore (or whatever).
I already created a SQL Server 2008 databasa on Arvixe.

We have our own server here in my office that the website is hosted on.

I can't get to the install page, it gives an error. So, how do I go about setting this up so I can start to create the store until we transfer everything to Arvixe. Should I just wait until we upload everything to Arvixe and then start nopCommerce? Would that be easier? Hope to do that within 2 weeks so time isn't a huge issue.
