These things will encourage users to make use of forum more and more and congratulate/appreciate/awarding users who help/contribute on this forum by giving them designations like "contributor" / " MVP" etc.

I like that idea, it will certainly encourage more people to contribute.

Along with the above mentioned features, there should be a section in the forum that should give the list of usersname or name of the users something like " Top 5 answers posts of the week or day" and in the list those username / names will be displayed who's posts are being answered the most

(Just a way of appreciating users for contributing in the forum)

Whatever features i discussed in the above posts, it will be great if these things are available in 1.6 version as well as on this nopCommerce website too.

what happens when a user posts one post after another just 1 minute apart ..... instead of editing / adding to a post-

like you just did - look at the post times -  1 post and then another a minute later

They can do this a lot of times, spamming the forum, and have a lot of posts but offer nothing to the community but spam ...

First of all no one has got enough time to post empty entries for spamming the forum.

well if anyone's objective is to JUST to spam the forum he/she can do it now also, (why care about earning points when objective is only to SPAM ?) Right now if any one of us wants to SPAM the forum with just blank posts, he/she can do without any restriction in any forum in the whole world, there is no restrictions for that.

Microsoft asp.net forum community is the biggest .NET community and they follow this same pattern of earning point through posts and awarding users.

it makes the forum hard to look at to find valuablue the parts of information for people who are searching

In the next edition we need to fix the froogle freed to add in Product Type values, right now 99.9% of my froogle feeds show

"Missing Product Type Values"

Spam is flooding the Internet with many copies of the same message, in an attempt to force the message on people who would not otherwise choose to receive it.

All my posts that you pointed out were for helping someone or i was talking to someone or i was providing some USEFUL information, if you call spam messages to those messages which are for helping someone or providing useful/helpful information then i get you should find the exact meaning of "spam" from any online dictionary.

I would just like to add my vote for QuickBooks integration.  That will be HUGE for us.
