Discount and Coupon offers

Please can anyone assist with configuring a discount with a coupon offer?

I have applied the 25% discount under the PROMOTIONS category under DISCOUNTS and the 25% discount is not calculating at checkout.

What applies is:-

25% discount on SKU products only (not whole order)
No TAX applies as in AUD $

Can anyone advise what i may be missing as when i create a test order on my website the coupon code discount does not become available.

Any feedback greatly appreciated. I have a promotion running in a print advertisement commencing this Monday 15th August and i am afraid it may be be corrected in time.

1. So you created 'Assigned to product variants (SKUs)' discount ('discount type' field on discount detail page). Right?
2. Have you assigned this 25% discount to a certain product (Admin area > Product variant details page > 'Discounts' tab)?
3. Have you specified any additional discount requriements (e.g. 'Billing country is')?
4. Are start and end dates of discount valid?

1. yes i have assigned 25% discount to product variants (SKU's) to each of the products on offer

However i had not

2. assigned individually the discount in the admin area>product variant details page>discounts tab.

3. No have not specified any discount requirements - do i need to?

4. Start and end dates have been added and saved

So, in relation to point 2 - i navigated, found and ticked the title of the 'coupon' discount on offer to one of my products and then created a test sale on my website and the discount offer still does not apply.

Therefore can you confirm i have done the correct thing based on the following steps:-

Products>Product variants SKU's>Discounts> - the promotion code appears so i tick this box right? Then save and test?

This is what i did as per notes above and it still does not apply the discount.

Can you please help - what am i missing?

Thank you - hopefully we are getting close to resolving this.

I also noticed a bug with calculation.

When i am in shopping cart and ordered 1 x rattle then hit 'continue' button it loads back to the baby rattle product page.
I then click 'add to cart' and it automatically adds another rattle which takes you to a total of 2 x rattles. This is a bug as it should continue to the checkout.

I have created a media fire account and created screen grabs to post to you and it won't accept the files when i drag and drop files anywhere on the page. Have navigated around and it simply won't accept these. This is very frustrating for me and you!  I don't  know why these won't upload...
