Hi,

My business has several commercial QuickBooks plugins available:

http://www.jmawebtechstore.com/p/17/nopcommerce-quickbooks-pos

http://www.jmawebtechstore.com/p/15/nopcommerce-quickbooks-online-connex

They sync orders, customers, products, payment and shipping methods between the two systems. If you have questions, please contact me:

Judging by your comment you must know a lot about the nopCommerce and Quickbooks market.

Would you mind sharing some insight so that other people here know how to do their pricing when they release nopCommerce products?

If it works well and they provide upgrades as nopC upgrades, I dont think the price is too bad if I were getting enough sales to make it cost effective.

The price is only too high if it's cheaper to write it yourself.  I would imagine that writing integration between QB and Nop would be more than a handful of hours so there you go.

Andy,

You are absolutely right about my software. Creating those connectors takes about 40 - 80 hours worth of work, since there are several thousand lines of code involved. Not to mention the cost of technical support and maintenance. Working with data is much harder than a payment provider or a social networking plugin, since a user can have null values and words too long for QuickBooks to handle.

Do you provide upgrades for free as nopC upgrades?

Hi,

I provide upgrades complimentary for the first year. I charge a 20% annual renewal to continue providing technical support and upgrades. For an additional fee, I can customize my plugins to your suit needs or take your suggestions as a feature request.

We were one of the first customers to try the quickbooks plugin.  Was lied to about free upgrades being provided.  Plugin doesn't currently work correctly and I am supposed to pay for a upgrade when I was promised free upgrades.  Always felt like a beta tester and software had problems every upgrade.

Stay away from jma
