With tier prices you can set it for instance as  1 for $100, 2 for $150 and 3 for $190 (all of the same item)

If you want to add a second item (B) at a discount you might try Product Variant Attribute "Include" with 2 values: 1) "Just Product A" and 2) "Product A + Product B (+$50)"

I found a way to do this. And you don't have to go in and edit every single product.

Promotions >  Discounts

1.  Click New
2.  Discount Type: Assigned Products
3.  Use Percentage: Check the box
4.  Discount Percentage: 50
5.  Start Date: xx/xx/xxxx
6.  End Date: xx/xx/xxxx
7.  Requires Coupon Code: Check the box or don’t, it doesn’t matter
8.  Discount limitation: Set at what you want
9.  N times: depends on step 8
10.  Maximum discounted quantity: 1
11.  Click Save
12.  Requirements > Restricted Products: Choose required product needed before discount and requirement type
13.  Applied to Products > Add new product > Choose what product you want discounted.
14.     Click Save
