Viewing mobile site in VS

Hi,

I have redesigned the front end of the nopCom site v2.65 and now wish to redesign the mobile part of the site but cannot view it in ie or firefox when in development mode, any reason why?

The mobile site is probably detected by your user-agent string.  You can get addons that change this to fool the site into thinking you are a different browser or device.

For testing, you can enable (check) 'Mobile devices supported' on Admin > Configuration > Settings > General and miscellaneous settings > Store information tab.

Also enable the 'storeinformationsettings.emulatemobiledevice' setting via Admin > Configuration > Settings > All Settings (advanced) > Click funnel icon on 'setting name' column, select 'Is equal to', enter storeinformationsettings.emulatemobiledevice, click Filter > Edit the Value to True, click Update.

Site is now in mobile view mode for everyone and there is a link at the bottom of the page that allows you to 'View full site'. You should change the setting to value back to False when you are done testing.
