How to sort by "Created on" on categories?

Hi, is there anyone who can tell me how to sort by "Created on " on categories??? Because most of visitor dont the meaning of position, I think Created on will be best style. look forward to solution.

Since v3.8 you can change the default sort order on the Catalog Settings page. Make sure it's in advanced mode and scroll all the way to the bottom.
