Getting error while tried to Register a new member

go into admin and from the system menu, select log - you will be able to see the error message - please post the error message here

Tried to do it again by refreshing the databases, by uploading published code/files, but getting still same issue.

I am fed up here why this error occur when I clicked on Register Link?

I appreciate if anyone will help to resolve the same

I don't know why its coming up. But I tried the same many times.

I setup a separate sub-domain and uploaded published files of version 1.6.0 and getting the different errors

In continuation to above , can anybody tell me about Fil/folder permissions as we are using a shared server so please tell the file permissions like I need to set Write permissions for Images folder

ok, it seems your store is not running at all

give read/write permissions for  _usr    and network-service  


and try it again

if it does not work, as was suggested we need to change the custom error in web.config to find the problem

I set all permissions to both _USR and IIS and customererrors are Off , but still no result I got the same yellow page saying about to set the customererrors to Remoteonly etc.

you must be doing something wrong - follow the above link and go through the instructions carefully

remember to upload the new web.config file to the correct location


following the above instructions will still give you an error page but it will be a detailed error which we can comment on
