Google images cached images that are not supposed to be there

I have a client who is currently going bananas because their thumbnails got cached by Google images.  Is there any way to remove these or hide them again?   I thought about changing the directory where they reside but I can't figure out where I could change that in the backend.

Changing the folder isn't going to remove them from the Google cache (well maybe eventually), this is Google's own advice: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/35308?hl=en
