Im trying to set the "cost" value on a simple product attribute. Rather than "price adjustment", I would assume this would then set a fixed cost for the product. However Im doing this and its not doing anything?
Can anyone point me to some documentation on this (I cant see anything) or an example of this in the demo store?
Cost is the cost to you, so is only used in profit calculations (sale price - cost = profit). I think the way to achieve what you want is to add a product attribute combination and set the override price there.
