Upgraded from 4.0 to 4.4 and it seems slow (Anyone else notices it being slow) idea to speed it up ?

I have been having the same issue with speeds and I don't feel comfortable releasing it to the client until I can speed it up. Any idea on what is causing such a slow performance?

What are you server specs - how much memory ?

Is it slow only first time load, or all the time?

Slow performance is mostly because:
# 3rd party plugins
# unappropriate configuration
Hosting
# lack of RAM
# slow SSD e.g. less than 150MB/s
# keep alive not working
