Extra fields

How do I add extra fields into each product. I need extra fields for Width, Depth, Height, etc.
The product specification is down below and in a somewhat hidden place...
Is this a custom job? Thanks.

No, nopCommerce already has it. all you have to do is to login into Admin
Go to Products, then choose a product you want to assign these attributes. You will find it inProduct Variants (SKUs) tab

I hope this is clear.

I mean like each product has a specification of different heights, widths, depths, etc.
For example:
Chair no.1
Height: 40"
Width: 30"
Depth: 20"

Chair no.2
Height: 45"
Width: 35"
Depth: 25"

I have looked at product attributes and product specifications but they cannot seem to be able to handle it.
Maybe I just don't know how to use it properly? Please advice. Thanks.

i'd also like to know if it would work in 1.8. Lots of my products have different spec attribute values so it would be hard to list them all and then select them drop down menu. I'd like to just type it in when i'm editing the product..

I have the value spec updated for v1.8 with a few extra features added.   Ill finish writing up the docs and email it to Nop so they can post it at some point tomorrow.

Ive updated it to support the following...

1) Value - Any value
2) Image - Url to a image to display
3) File - Links to a file,   shows a icon based on the extension
4) Html - just good ol html
