Hello. I bought your software some time ago, I could not use it because my hosting do not Permet remote database management.

Now we nopeasy software connects to my database but does not load anything and gives me an error message.

I can physically create the category and products but when I go to map the image it does not view on the front end. Thank you for the quick response, Yes I am. I'm trying just to add a new row but the Picture Binary remains NULL.

We are on a localhost currently and testing the operational systems o various ECommerce packages, the company I work for has an in house database that uses a replication process to update there stock levels every evening, the database I'm currently creating will be linked to this system in time but we need to find a way of uploading the images first and connecting them to specific stock codes...

I can do it through the admin interface with ease but I have been told/asked to do it manually in the database.

Is this possible any help would be great.

I don't know the table or column name off-hand, but you can try something like this:

INSERT INTO TableName(ColumnName)
SELECT * FROM
OPENROWSET(BULK N'C:\Image1.jpg', SINGLE_BLOB) As Image

... to upload an image from your hard drive into the database. Of course you replace the table and column name and the file path. This code may not be exactly right, I found it online somewhere. This isn't how I do it in my program, but I can't remember that off-hand either.

I have been writing directly into the table. As I mentioned I'm a complete novice this is the first application I have ever built..

The table in question is dbo.picture from the example/ template web shop.

The table is constructed like so with examples

ID - 1
Picture Binary - <Binarydata>
MimeType - image/jepg
SeoFilename - imagefile
IsNew - True/False

I have highlighted the coloum Im having issues with. The company wants to reference a sort/product to an image so when entering a search option it goes directly to the product/information and image.
