I would like to propose an alternative, considering:
1. Larry did a good template desired by many;
2. Many of us, including myself, have invested to have a nice interface to our customers;
3. For many people complain, I think Larry has received more than he should for his work;
4. Larry is dead, at least in this community;
5. All of us who made the investment and many other NOP users who wish this template has the need for support, or at least that this template works properly;
The proposal would be:
1. The NOP Team identifies a sponsor / developer and creates an ADD-On (a kind of the Fashion Template) to be traded from mm/dd as is done today with the User's Guide and Copyright Removal;
2. We send our code for this sponsor / developer that would correct / adapt the code to properly NOP. Everyone who sent your codes would get 70% off in this new template;
3. The revenue from the sale of Fashion Template would help develop NOPCommerce;

Hi, Regarding Trendy Shoes 1.90
It seems like everyone is avoiding this template. It is to bad because it is a beautiful looking website. I have a client that is wanting this template and I cannot figure out hoe to get it to install. I read on this forum about some who have at the very least been able to get it to install correctly - I also read that it has several issues. At this point I could really use some help just getting it to install. Please if anyone can give me some direction, I will be forever grateful. I purchased the package from osshop. biz and downloaded the folders. I uploaded it all to my host server which I know is nopCommerce 1.90 compliant. I enter the install url http://noptest.laureeswigs.us/install/install.aspx and I get this error:

It seems like everyone is avoiding this template. It is to bad because it is a beautiful looking website. I have a client that is wanting this template and I cannot figure out hoe to get it to install. I read on this forum about some who have at the very least been able to get it to install correctly - I also read that it has several issues. At this point I could really use some help just getting it to install. Please if anyone can give me some direction, I will be forever grateful. I purchased the package from osshop. biz and downloaded the folders. I uploaded it all to my host server which I know is nopCommerce 1.90 compliant. I enter the install url http://noptest.laureeswigs.us/install/install.aspx and I get this error:

You can get this template working by opening it from within visual studio first to build and configure the site. Then after its configured upload to your hosting account and update your connection string.
However i am having some issues with the code when its placed under a virtual directory on my sosftsys hosting account. A lot of the references in Larrys AddOns folder break when i add the site under a virtual directory.
